Eric Alba has posted a Flickr feed of his spiffy new tracking markers. The best thing is the not-so-secret message printed on every one. Here, take a closer look.

Nooooo, this is bound to lead to someone using MILLIONS of them ALL OVER THE SET because that’ll save them MORE money… right?
I mean, they’re easy to remove in post… RIGHT?

That’s great. The person that gets the best look at them will be the roto/paint artist that spends three weeks removing it from behind the lead actors head.
I hate roto/paint artists Too!
Love your Work!
That was my first reaction stanza – the ol’ tracking marker behind the actress’s long hair trick. I just had to do 3 shots with that issue. Tracking markers=good. Tracking markers behind hair=bad. I know – compositors always complain about something. Guilty.
